Engineering
The Engineering team is responsible for optimising the performance of the production plants, ensuring technical progress and implementing technological innovations.
From setting up a new production line to building a complete new plant, our engineers develop innovative approaches in close collaboration with the operational divisions and with external customers.
Our multidisciplinary teams operate in many countries around the world, managing projects from A to Z. For this purpose they call on our specialised engineering departments: Hot Glass, Mechanical Engineering, Electricity, Processes, Civil Engineering, etc.
Their responsibilities include analysing requirements, preparing contract specifications, drawing up plans and carrying out comprehensive studies. Discussing and negotiating also form part of the job.
Apart from their specialised technical knowledge, our Engineering staff members need to be creative and to get along well with other people, as they are in constant contact with the production teams in the field.
Thanks to their wide independence and freedom of action, our Engineers are able to make full use of their talents in managing large-scale projects.
