Human Resources
The Human Resources roles within the Group are constantly evolving because they are key to the growing European dimension of AGC Flat Glass Europe. Our HR collaborators are endeavouring to develop a common policy and to harmonise systems while respecting everyone’s culture.
Specialists and generalists have a forward looking role and take full part in the strategic thinking about operational activities.
The Human Resources departments are organised on three levels within the Group :
- The Corporate level (Brussels) has the aim of defining the global strategy, reinforcing the collective consensus in social relations, developing a communication philosophy and enhancing the abilities and skills of everyone.
- The Country level (Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Czech Republic) has the responsibility of co-ordinating national solutions such as collective agreements, national legislation, practices relating to labour conditions and the employment markets depending on the specific circumstances in each country ...
- The Local level : The HR team has the task of implementing the day to day Human Resources guidelines and the management of all aspects of HR : recruitment, training, payroll, collective labour relations and communication.
