Our production engineers occupy a vital role at the very heart of the Group's activities. They orchestrate the many parameters involved in making and processing raw glass, with responsibility for production, packaging and storage of the products.
They combine technical and administrative skills, anticipating, organising and coordinating the production programmes so as to optimise the yield and quality, while ensuring safety of personnel and protection of the environment.
Fully at home on the shop floor, they keep the production lines running smoothly at all times, constantly ready to leap in and deal quickly with the technical glitches that can occur at any moment.
But while they keep a close eye on the machines, they are also in close contact with people, managing, motivating and inspiring their teams, always ready to get into action whenever the need arises.
Being a production engineer at AGC Flat Glass Europe is a job with many facets. Our engineers are guarantors of quality and customer service, in close contact with the R&D Centre, Marketing and suppliers.
Starting with fire, water and sand, our engineers apply high technology combined with their own talents to create and transform the glass that surrounds us in our everyday lives.
