For AGC Flat Glass Europe, Operational Excellence also means being close to the customer. Hence the organisation (into divisions and business units) according to markets, with a distribution and production network covering the whole of Europe. Being close to customers is also the task of the International Building Project Team of glass experts who deal with international players involved in large construction projects. Finally, the Customer Care Centres located in five different regions of Europe (Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Russia) act as information centres, serving customers in their own language and providing a one stop shop for speedy, efficient handling of all their orders.
